Who we are
A Malawian company, built to raise the standard
Malawi Shine Cleaning Services is a Malawian cleaning and facility management company based in Lilongwe. We clean and look after offices, schools, clinics, banks, lodges, shops, factories and homes.
Every job starts with a visit. We agree the scope with you, put the price in writing, and work to a written method for each area. Our staff carry an ID card you can check by scanning its QR code.

Cleaning science
There is a right way, and it can be taught
Most people think cleaning is effort. It is not. It is method. Four things separate a trained cleaner from someone with a mop.
Colour-coding
Different colours for different areas
A cloth used in a toilet never touches a desk. Colour-coding is how a professional team stops germs travelling from one room to another, and it only works if every cleaner is trained on it.
Dilution & dwell time
The right amount, left long enough
A disinfectant only kills what it claims to if it is mixed correctly and left on the surface long enough. Wiped off too soon, it is just wet. Our staff are taught both.
Method & sequence
Top down, clean to dirty
There is a right order to a room. Working the wrong way round means re-dirtying what you have already done, wasting your money on time that achieves nothing.
Competency
Checked, not assumed
We check a cleaner can actually perform a task to the standard before they are sent to your site, and a supervisor checks again once they are there.
Our training and working methods are built around British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) methodology, the recognised professional standard for cleaning. We are aligned to those standards; we do not hold a BICSc certificate, and we will never tell you otherwise.
